Asphalt paving requires temperatures consistently above 10°C for proper compaction and curing.
A minimum 8-inch compacted granular base prevents settling and cracking in GTA clay soils.
Sealcoat your driveway every 3-5 years to protect against water penetration and UV damage.
Avoid parking heavy vehicles in the same spot during the first summer — asphalt needs time to fully harden.
