- Control joints should be placed every 8-12 feet to control where cracking occurs and keep it hidden.
- Concrete needs 7 days minimum of moist curing for maximum strength — don't let it dry too fast.
- Wait 30 days before applying deicing salts on new concrete to prevent surface scaling.
